About

Daily, one‑fund rotation among six bond funds. It buys the one that has fallen the most recently (lowest 14‑day RSI), aiming for a short‑term bounce. Mostly muni/MBS/investment‑grade bond exposure; very concentrated and rate‑sensitive.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 14‑day “heat meter” (RSI, 0–100; lower = fell more recently) on six bond funds that trade like stocks: 4 muni‑bond funds (NAN, MMU, PMM, EVN), a mortgage‑backed bond fund (BKT), and an investment‑grade bond fund (VBF). It buys the one with the lowest reading and holds it until the next day.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: a daily bond-CEF rotation delivering ~29.64% annualized return with a 3.79 Sharpe vs SPY's 23.63%/2.15, lower drawdowns (1.68% vs 2.53%), and Calmar ~17.7—strong, risk-adjusted growth versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
