About
A highly active strategy-of-strategies that rotates among aggressive stock funds, Treasury bond trades, bearish hedges, and volatility funds based on trend, momentum, and recent winners.
This strategy is a manager of many mini-strategies. Every cycle, it looks at which 3 mini-strategies did best over the last month, then gives more money to the calmer ones.
Those mini-strategies mainly switch between aggressive tech stocks, U.S. stock indexes, long-term Treasury bonds, bets against stocks, and volatility/fear funds depending on market trend, recent strength, and signs of overheating.
Dynamic, rule-based multi-sleeve strategy rotates into the top 3 trend/bond/volatility bets each month, blending stocks, bonds and hedges. In out-of-sample tests it posted ~14.5% annualized returns with diversification beyond the S&P 500.
