About

A fast, high‑octane strategy that toggles between tech‑heavy 3x funds, inverse funds, and VIX products using trend, oversold/overbought (RSI), and big TQQQ moves. Aims to ride uptrends and fade extremes; risk is very high and turnover can be heavy.
NutHow it works
- Step 1: Trend check. If the S&P 500 (SPY) is below its 200‑day average, it stays defensive (short via SH) unless the Nasdaq (QQQ) looks washed‑out, then it buys 3x tech funds for a rebound. - Step 2: If trend is up, it mixes a base stock/tech sleeve with two tactical sleeves that switch between high‑beta longs (TQQQ/UPRO/SOXL/TECL/SVXY) and bearish picks (SQQQ/TECS/SOXS/UVXY). Big one‑day pops in TQQQ are faded; sharp 6‑day drops tilt into SVXY. Signals use RSI (a 0–100 “heat gauge”). - Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return 25.46% vs SPY 20.40%; Calmar ~1.23 signals solid risk-adjusted upside per drawdown. Higher drawdowns are a trade-off for bigger gains from regime-aware leverage and volatility tools in up markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
