About

A tactical, high‑risk Nasdaq‑100 strategy: ride TQQQ in uptrends, but flip to SQQQ, bonds, or volatility when markets look overheated or choppy. In downtrends it defends, only buying TQQQ on extreme selloffs.
NutHow it works
First checks if the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average. - If yes: mostly hold TQQQ (3x Nasdaq-100). If prices look overheated, very volatile, or after sharp bounces, switch briefly to SQQQ (‑3x), TLT (bonds), or VXX (volatility). - If no: stay defensive with SQQQ, VXX/UVXY, or TLT, and only buy TQQQ on extreme dips or short‑term strength.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy outperforms the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted gains: Calmar 6.83, Sharpe 2.35, and ~157% annualized return vs ~34% for SPY—though it carries higher drawdowns (~23%). Dynamic Nasdaq-100 edge with hedging.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
