About
A very aggressive market-timing strategy that usually bets hard on large U.S. tech stocks, but flips into bearish, volatility, or Treasury positions when markets look overheated, panicky, or in a downtrend.
This strategy is mostly a high-risk bet on big U.S. tech stocks through TQQQ, a fund that magnifies Nasdaq moves 3x.
It first asks: is the overall U.S. stock market in a healthy uptrend? If yes, it usually owns TQQQ. But if the market looks too hot, too shaky, or has just fallen hard, it may switch to a bearish Nasdaq fund (SQQQ), a fear/volatility product (VXX), or long-term Treasury bonds (TLT).
If the broad market is in a downtrend, it becomes much more defensive and more often chooses SQQQ, VXX, or TLT instead of TQQQ.
Tech-led, adaptive strategy targets outsized upside: OOS ~44% annualized vs SPY ~25%, Sharpe ~1, Calmar ~1.02. Uses regime hedges to ride rallies and cut losses, but bear-market drawdowns can be large (≈43%).
