About

Aggressive, rules‑based swing + trend strategy: fade overheated pops with UVXY, buy dips with 3x tech/semis/S&P, and trend‑follow otherwise. Uses volatility, sector leadership, and bond signals to toggle risk. Very high risk and frequent shifts.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: did markets just surge to a very hot reading or a huge 1‑day jump? If yes, it briefly buys UVXY (a fund that tends to spike when fear rises) to catch a pullback. If the market looks washed‑out, it buys 3x tech/semis/S&P (TECL, SOXL, SPXL) for a bounce. If neither, it follows the trend: holds SPXL/TQQQ/UDOW in uptrends, or plain SPY/QQQ/DIA or T‑Bills (BIL) when conditions look defensive. It flips risk using volatility (VIX), tech vs staples, and bond signals.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return ~50.8%/yr vs S&P 33.7%; volatility timing and regime-switching seek bigger upside with protection. Calmar ~2.47; drawdown ~20.6% vs SPY ~5.1%—high upside, higher risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
