A daily market-timing strategy that blends aggressive U.S. stock bets with bond hedges and cash, trying to buy dips in good setups and step aside when market stress looks too high.
NutHow it works
This strategy splits money into 3 parts and checks the market every day. It mainly chooses between very aggressive stock funds tied to the S&P 500 and Nasdaq, a long-term Treasury bond fund, or a cash-like T-bill fund. In calm markets it leans into stocks; after sharp drops it may try to buy the dip; during danger signs it moves to cash, and in extreme stress it can briefly use a volatility fund.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
