About

Daily, tactical blend using leveraged S&P/Nasdaq and long Treasuries. Buys dips but avoids chasing; shifts to T‑Bills or hedges with SQQQ/VXX when risk spikes. Signals: trend, volatility, drawdown, and recent momentum.
NutHow it works
It blends 3 rule sets and rebalances daily. In calm uptrends it rides the stronger of 3x S&P (UPRO) or 3x Nasdaq (TQQQ), often paired with 3x long Treasuries (TMF). After 5‑day dips in SPY/QQQ it buys UPRO/TQQQ, unless a big +5% day just happened. When risk jumps it parks in T‑Bills (BIL) or hedges with 3x short Nasdaq (SQQQ) and sometimes volatility (VXX). It uses simple gauges: trend vs 25‑day avg, bounciness, worst recent drop, and a recent up/down score.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~45% annualized return vs ~23% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.16 and Sharpe ~1.05. Higher upside with Treasuries hedges—growth-focused, risk-tolerant investors may prefer this to the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
