About

Rules‑based, daily strategy that rotates among 3x S&P 500/Nasdaq, 3x long Treasuries, or cash. It buys dips in tech/S&P, runs a 55/45 stock‑bond barbell in calm markets, and sits in T‑bills when stressed, with a tiny volatility‑spike hedge.
NutHow it works
It splits your money across many short‑term “sensors” (14–42 days). Each day they ask: Is the market calm? Have stocks fallen a lot? Are stocks hot or cold vs bonds (RSI = 0–100 heat meter; low=cold, high=hot). If calm, it rides 3x S&P/Nasdaq (UPRO/TQQQ), often in a 55/45 barbell with 3x long Treasuries (TMF), favoring the steadier index. If not calm, it only buys after ~5% 5‑day dips; otherwise parks in T‑bills (BIL). A small add‑on hedges with UVXY at rare extremes. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: this rules-based mix targets ~38% annualized returns vs SPY's ~22%, with a Calmar ~1.04. It captures big upside in calm markets via leveraged equity sleeves while hedging risk in turbulence, though drawdowns can be larger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
