About

A 50/50 tactical blend that rides tech‑led uptrends, buys dips, and cuts risk fast with dollar/gold/bonds/volatility hedges. It can rotate into inverse equity or long/short Treasuries when markets turn, aiming for smoother, higher compounding.
NutHow it works
Split money 50/50: (1) a “hedged market” sleeve; (2) a “fund surfing” sleeve. It uses simple tripwires: trend (200‑day avg), a heat meter (RSI: 0–100, high=overheated, low=washed‑out), and recent drawdowns. In uptrends it rides QQQ/TQQQ (tech) or SPY; when stress hits it flips to hedges: UUP (US dollar), GLD (gold), BSV/SHY (short‑term bonds), or inverse funds (PSQ/SH/SQQQ), and may use UVXY as a crash airbag. In high vol it can switch between long/short long‑term Treasuries (TMF/TMV) or add commodities (DBC/DBA).
CheckmarkValue prop
High-growth, risk-managed trend strategy designed to outpace the S&P. OOS annualized return ~50% vs ~24% for the S&P, with Calmar ~0.91 and Sharpe ~1.24. Accepts larger drawdowns for bigger upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
