About
Blends trend-following and dip-buying: in uptrends it’s mostly Nasdaq-100 (QQQ) with a small 2x boost. In downtrends it buys sharp dips with 2x QLD; otherwise it shifts to defensive staples with a small 2x inverse hedge.
It watches the overall market (SPY). If SPY is above its 200‑day average (a long‑term trend line), it holds mostly Nasdaq‑100 (QQQ) with a small 2x boost (QLD).
If SPY is below that line and just fell hard (RSI(10)<30, a quick “oversold” gauge), it buys 2x QLD for a rebound.
Otherwise it plays defense: mostly Consumer Staples (XLP) plus a small 2x inverse Nasdaq hedge (QID).
Out-of-sample edge: 34.28% annualized return vs 23.12% for SPX, Sharpe ~1.26, Calmar ~1.38. A regime-switching blend (Nasdaq upside, dip-buy, staples defense) seeks higher long-run growth with disciplined risk versus the S&P 500.
