About

A 50/50 blend: a regime-and-trend switcher that rotates among stocks, commodities, bonds, and volatility hedges, plus a short-term “buy the dip” module. Heavy use of 3x/2x and VIX-linked funds. Very aggressive and fast-moving.
NutHow it works
Splits money 50/50: Aggressive Battleship and Fund Surfing. Battleship checks if US stocks or commodities lead and whether the trend is up or down, then holds one fund (3x stock funds, VIX-linked funds, commodities, or Treasuries/foreign stocks). Fund Surfing buys the most “oversold” fund(s) over days/weeks unless volatility is spiking, then it switches to a bond trade. “RSI” = hot/cold score; moving averages = trend.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 35.4% annualized return vs SPY’s 23.2%, powered by regime/trend rotations across stocks, commodities, bonds and volatility hedges. Higher upside but significantly larger drawdowns—suitable for risk-tolerant alpha seekers.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
