About

A fast, high‑risk, 50/50 tactical blend that flips between stock-, commodity-, and bond-focused bets using simple fear and trend cues, often via 3x leveraged ETFs and VIX products.
NutHow it works
Targets 50% in “Aggressive Battleship III” and 50% in “Fund Surfing.” First, it decides if stocks (SPY) or commodities (DBC) have led over ~1 year. Then it uses fear gauges (VIX/UVXY), trend lines (fast vs slow averages), recent drops, and short‑term strength to pick 1–2 ETFs (often 3x) across stocks, Treasuries (TMF/TMV), commodities, gold/silver, oil/ag, USD, or volatility. RSI = hot/cold score; EMA = trend; max drawdown = worst recent drop.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adaptive 50/50 tactical blend across stocks, commodities and bonds using leverage and volatility signals. OOS return 33.7% vs SPY 22.8%; higher swings, max drawdown ~75%, but potential for stronger long-run upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
