About
A one‑ETF tactical strategy that times leveraged tech/S&P funds using simple “heat” gauges and trend lines. Parks in dividends when unclear; in stress it pivots to Treasuries or volatility. Very aggressive—expect big swings.
It uses a 0–100 “heat” gauge of recent price moves (RSI). If the Nasdaq‑100 looks lukewarm (about 41–59), it parks in dividend stocks (DVY). If it looks hot or cold, it trades one fund at a time:
- In uptrends (S&P 500 above its 200‑day average), it mainly holds TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100) unless overheated, then it briefly switches to UVXY (volatility).
- In downtrends, it may buy sharp dips in tech (TECL) or the S&P (UPRO), otherwise flip short tech (SQQQ) or move to Treasuries (TLT).
Out-of-sample lags SPY on return/Sharpe and shows higher drawdowns, but it diversifies a SPY-heavy portfolio and adds hedges (UVXY, TLT) for crisis-style risk management in volatile tech cycles.
