About
Daily, all-in on one ETF: in big selloffs, either bottom‑fish 3x Tech or hide in VIX/T‑bills; in normal times, mostly sit in short Treasuries, only grabbing volatility when markets look overheated and vol is perking up.
Every day it asks:
1) Has the S&P 500 fallen >10% in the last month? If yes: buy 3x Tech on deep oversold; else hold VIX or T‑bills depending on how severe the drop is.
2) If not: only buy a volatility ETF when the market is red‑hot AND volatility is waking up; otherwise sit in short‑term Treasuries.
Out-of-sample edge: ~27.6% annualized return vs SPY ~16.3%; max drawdown ~4.2% vs ~18.8%; Calmar ~6.6. A crash-protected, tactical ETF strategy designed to capture upside while limiting downside.
