Each day: 1) If crude oil is extremely oversold (very low short‑term readings), buy UCO (a 2x leveraged oil fund). 2) Otherwise, only own DBO (a standard oil fund) if oil is in an uptrend: price > 130‑day average AND 8‑day average > 65‑day average. 3) If not, hold SHV (T‑bills).
