About

Owns one asset at a time based on stock‑market health and Bitcoin’s short‑term trend. Risk‑on: MSTR. Risk‑off: rotate among BITI (short BTC), BSV (short‑term bonds), TBT (inverse Treasuries), or MSTR using moving averages and a momentum score. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
1) If SPY (broad US stock fund) is above its 200‑day average: hold MSTR (MicroStrategy, very tied to Bitcoin). 2) Else check BITO (Bitcoin futures ETF). If BITO is below its 15‑day average: buy the strongest of BITI (short Bitcoin), BSV (short‑term bonds), or TBT (inverse long Treasuries) by 10‑day RSI (0–100 momentum score). 3) Else if BITO’s 10‑day RSI > 59: buy BITI; otherwise MSTR. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~29% annual return vs ~21% for the S&P, driven by a risk-on/off rotation that captures Bitcoin beta. Strong crypto upside with risk controls—though it comes with higher volatility and larger drawdowns than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
