About

Equal‑weights two daily‑rebalanced systems that use Bitcoin ETFs (GBTC, BITO) as signals. When Bitcoin strength is confirmed, it buys 3x stock ETFs (SPXL, TQQQ) or sits in T‑Bills (BIL). A second branch may short stocks (SPXS) when Bitcoin pops. High risk.
NutHow it works
Split in two. A) Bitcoin trackers GBTC/BITO act as signals. If they trend up (price>20‑day avg; 10‑day>20‑day; 100‑day>300‑day; 50‑day return>0) and are not overheated (RSI<75; RSI = speed‑of‑gains), buy SPXL (3x S&P 500) and TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100); else hold BIL (T‑bills). B) If BITO rose 5 days: if stocks stronger than bonds (RSI SPY>SHY) short stocks with SPXS (3x inverse S&P 500), else BIL. Otherwise, if 21‑day BITO up buy SPXL, else BIL. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this BTC‑informed strategy earns ~23.7% annualized return vs ~20.6% for the S&P 500, with a sharper risk profile (Sharpe ~1.43 vs ~1.22) and smaller drawdowns (~13.8% vs ~18.8%), plus a strong Calmar (~1.72).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
