About
Tactical Bitcoin play: ride the top crypto‑linked winners in uptrends, but when conditions weaken or get overheated, switch to shorting Bitcoin (BITI) or parking in the U.S. dollar fund (UUP), using trend, RSI, momentum, and volatility triggers.
Step 1: Check trend using moving averages (average price lines). If BITO (a Bitcoin ETF) is trending up, buy the 3 strongest of BITO, MARA/RIOT/HUT (Bitcoin miners), COIN (Coinbase), and KEEL—equal‑weighted. If not, use RSI (a hot/cold gauge), recent gains/losses, and volatility to either short Bitcoin via BITI (inverse Bitcoin ETF), hide in UUP (a U.S. dollar fund), or briefly rotate among those crypto names.
Regime-aware crypto strategy: ride uptrends (BITO, miners, COIN) and hedge with BITI/UUP in risk-off. Out-of-sample Sharpe ~0.77, Calmar ~1.40, and ~26.8% annualized return provide meaningful risk-adjusted upside and diversification beyond the S&P.
