A very aggressive trading system that chases strong tech trends, buys sharp dips, and flips into hedges or bearish funds when markets look overheated or dangerous.

This strategy is a fast-moving market timer. Most of the time it looks for chances to own aggressive tech-related funds like leveraged Nasdaq, semiconductor, or S&P 500 products. But if the market looks too hot, too weak, or too chaotic, it can quickly switch into defensive holdings, volatility bets, or funds that rise when stocks fall. It makes these calls using simple market gauges: trend (is price above its long-term average?), heat (has it risen too fast lately?), and turbulence (how jumpy or crash-prone has it been?).

Out-of-sample edge: ~18.5% annualized return vs SPY 8.9%, Calmar ~0.85. Higher upside but larger drawdowns (~21.8% vs 3.4%). A tech-momentum, regime-switching strategy that diversifies and hedges beyond SPY.
