About

Daily, 75% rotates into the weakest sector for a rebound or hedges with volatility when markets overheat; 25% runs tactical hedges in bonds, volatility, inverse equity, or cash to soften big drops. Uses some 2x–3x ETFs; high risk.
NutHow it works
75%: If a sector looks overheated, it briefly buys volatility (UVXY). If a sector looks washed out (RSI < ~30), it buys that sector (sometimes a 2x–3x version) expecting a bounce. Otherwise it owns the strongest sector. 25%: A hedge sleeve flips among long/short Treasuries (TMF/TMV), volatility (VIXY/SVXY), inverse stock funds (PSQ/SH), or cash (SHV) using trend and stress signals. RSI = a 0–100 speed-of-moves gauge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 7.72 vs SPY 2.04, with higher alpha and Calmar, signaling superior risk-adjusted returns. Sector-rotation with hedges aims for quicker rebounds and downside protection versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
