About

A daily, rules-based strategy that rotates between leveraged tech momentum, short-term bounce trades, and a Treasury/dollar/gold safety mix. It uses simple trend and risk checks to press when markets are healthy and quickly hedge or step aside when stress rises.
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy asks: are stocks healthy, is volatility rising or falling, and what are bonds doing? - If conditions are good, it leans into U.S. tech (often using amplified ETFs like TECL/TQQQ) and buys short-term “bounce” setups in volatile names. - If stress shows up, it rotates to Treasuries (TLT/IEI/SHY), the U.S. dollar (UUP), gold (GLD), or hedges with volatility/inverse funds (UVXY/PSQ/TMV). It then invests in the two sleeves that have worked best recently and rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, the strategy delivers high risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~2.02), low beta (~0.81), and Calmar ~33, leveraging regime-based tech exposure with hedges—providing stronger upside and controlled risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
