About

Weekly momentum in big tech: among Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Amazon, Tesla, Nvidia, and Adobe, buy the two with the strongest 1-week gains and split 50/50. Rebalance weekly.
NutHow it works
Each week the strategy looks at eight large U.S. tech names—Apple, Microsoft, Google (Alphabet), Meta (Facebook), Amazon, Tesla, Nvidia, and Adobe. It checks which two had the biggest price gains over roughly the last week, then puts all the money into those two, split 50/50. Next week it repeats the check and switches if the leaders change. It’s a simple “recent winners keep winning” approach focused only on big tech.
CheckmarkValue prop
Big-tech momentum: weekly, 2-leader bets with rebalancing. Out-of-sample stats beat the S&P on risk-adjusted return (Sharpe ~1.43 vs ~1.40) and alpha, with ~52% annualized return vs ~23% for the S&P—at the cost of higher drawdown (~34%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
