A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A daily, rules-based “risk-on/risk-off” system. It rides tech/QQQ uptrends (often with leverage), moves to T‑bills/Treasuries/gold when conditions worsen, and uses VIX or short ETFs as crash airbags. Higher risk than buy-and-hold due to leverage and VIX use.
NutHow it works
It runs like an autopilot. It watches three things: trend (price vs long-term average), heat (a 0–100 “too hot/too cold” gauge of recent moves), and whether bonds are beating stocks. Then it shifts daily between: (1) riding tech/QQQ (sometimes with 2x/3x ETFs), (2) hiding in T‑bills/Treasuries/gold, or (3) hedging with volatility (VIXY) or short ETFs (PSQ/SH).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample it shows superior risk-adjusted performance and far lower downside. Sharpe ~5.2 vs ~0.9 for the S&P; max drawdown ~0.22% vs ~4.5%; Calmar ~23 vs ~1. It auto-adjusts: hedges during risk, leverages tech rallies for upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
