It watches lots of quick 2–3 day “safer vs riskier” scorecards (havens like the Swiss franc, Treasuries, volatility, infrastructure vs cyclicals like banks, homebuilders, copper). If defense is winning (often when BTAL rises), it holds 20% BTAL and contrarian picks among recent losers (incl. some inverse funds). If offense is winning, it owns the 4 strongest ETFs by recent 1‑month momentum (e.g., semis, software, energy, Japan). Rebalances daily; uses some leveraged/inverse funds.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
