About

A daily, high‑octane tactic: use bonds to call risk‑on/off, then rotate into 3x tech/semis (TECL or SOXL), flip to 3x inverse tech/semis (SQQQ or SOXS) when conditions sour, or park in short Treasuries (SHY) if the S&P looks too hot.
NutHow it works
1) Read bonds: compare 5‑day RSI of BIL (cash‑like T‑bills) to VGIT (intermediate Treasuries). RSI is a quick “heat” gauge. If VGIT > BIL, go offensive. 2) Offense: buy whichever of TECL or SOXL (3x tech/semis bulls) is more active by recent volatility—unless S&P 500 RSI(10) > 80; then hold SHY (short Treasuries). 3) Otherwise, compare 10‑day RSI of SHY to SPHB (high‑beta stocks). If Treasuries look weak, buy the lower‑RSI of SQQQ or SOXS (3x inverse tech/semis); else TECL/SOXL. Daily rebalance.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~75.9% annualized return vs 14.7% for S&P, Sharpe ~1.06, Calmar ~0.97. Bond-regime filter targets big upside in tech/semis with hedges when crowded. Note: max drawdown can be ~79%.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
