About

Daily, bond‑guided swing strategy that rotates among 3x tech/semis bulls (SOXL/TECL), 3x inverse bears (SOXS/SQQQ), or short Treasuries (SHY). Uses short‑term “heat” (RSI) to avoid buying when markets are too hot.
NutHow it works
Each day it reads the bond market first: if intermediate Treasuries (VGIT) look stronger than T‑bills (BIL) on a short‑term “heat” score (RSI), it’s willing to take risk. If the S&P 500 (SPY) looks too hot (very high RSI), it parks in SHY (short Treasuries). Otherwise it buys one aggressive 3x tech/semis fund (SOXL or TECL), picking the one moving more. If the bond check isn’t supportive, it either holds a beaten‑down bear ETF (SOXS or SQQQ) as a hedge when high‑beta stocks (SPHB) look strong, or still picks the more explosive of SOXL/TECL. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~16% annualized return vs S&P 14.72%, aided by a bond-gated, RSI-driven 3x tech/semis tilt. Captures bigger upside in tech cycles with disciplined risk filters—but expect higher volatility and larger drawdowns than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
