A tactical, short‑term plan that switches between leveraged semiconductor funds (SOXL/SOXS), volatility funds (UVXY/VIXY), and T‑bills (BIL) using simple heat‑gauge signals: ride chips on calmer days, hedge or short when markets look too hot.

First, compare recent strength of BIL (T‑bills) vs IEF (7–10yr Treasuries). If IEF is stronger and SPY (S&P 500) looks very “hot,” buy a volatility fund (UVXY/VIXY). If not “hot,” buy SOXL (3x bullish semiconductors). If BIL is stronger, usually play defense: short chips with SOXS (3x inverse) when they’re hot; after small dips sometimes buy SOXL; otherwise sit ~80% in BIL + 20% SOXS.
