About
Rules-based, two-sleeve portfolio: buy dips in 3x S&P/Nasdaq/Semiconductor funds, hedge with volatility when overheated, and hold dividend ETFs when no trade. Switches to bonds or inverse funds when fear rises. High risk.
Two sleeves. Growth (~60%): pursues quick rebounds in S&P 500, Nasdaq, Semis via 3x funds (SPXL, TQQQ, SOXL). Rule: buy after sharp drops (RSI = 0-100 heat meter; <30 oversold); if too hot (>80), buy a fear fund (UVXY); else sit in T-Bills/short bonds (BIL/BSV). When fear cools (SVXY up), switch among TQQQ/SPXL, bonds, or inverse funds (SQQQ/SPXU). Income (~40%): same rules, but parks in monthly dividend ETFs (SPHD, PEY, DHS). High risk.
Out-of-sample edge: ~54% annualized return vs ~19% for SPY, Sharpe ~1.29 vs ~1.14, Calmar ~1.72, max drawdown ~31% vs ~19%. Higher growth with strong risk-adjusted upside, plus tactical hedging and income sleeves.
