About

A fast, tactical portfolio that blends “buy the dip” trades with bigger trend and macro rotations. It uses leveraged tech/sector funds, Treasuries, commodities, gold, the US dollar, and volatility hedges, shifting to T‑Bills when signals aren’t favorable.
NutHow it works
It first checks if fear is spiking (a 10‑day “heat” score—RSI, a hot/cold meter—on volatility). If very high, it runs quick “pop” trades: buy UVXY when markets look red‑hot, buy leveraged stock funds only after hard drops, else sit in T‑Bills. If not, it splits into 3 sleeves: (1) pop + trend switch (stocks vs commodities) to go risk‑on/off; (2) a 6‑month macro mix (tech, Treasuries, commodities, gold, dollar); (3) a bond‑trend sleeve. Calmer assets get more weight.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~33% annualized return vs SPY ~21%, Calmar ~1.04—strong risk-adjusted gains. Higher upside with volatility hedges and cash; but drawdowns ~32%, so suitable for higher risk tolerance.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
