Each month, the strategy puts 60% into aggressive stock funds and 40% into “shock absorbers.” The growth side spreads money across U.S., tech, and international stock funds, giving a bit more to the ones that have been less jumpy lately. The hedge side owns managed-futures funds, a fund that bets against high-risk stocks, and gold. The goal is strong upside with built-in protection when markets get rough.
