About

A daily, rules-based “gas/brake” allocator. It rides trends (often tech/semis, sometimes with leverage), but when markets look too hot or fearful it moves to T‑Bills or hedges. It also rotates bonds (TMF/TMV), gold/commodities, and managed futures for diversification. High risk due to leveraged/volatility ETFs.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks if stocks are trending, overheated, or fearful using simple gauges (RSI, moving averages, and the VIX). In calm uptrends it owns growth (tech/semis, sometimes 3x). When overheated or fear spikes, it shifts to T‑Bills or hedges (BTAL, VIXM) and may use short‑vol (SVXY) once fear fades. It also flips bonds (TMF/TMV), adds gold/oil/managed futures for diversification, and buys dips when deeply oversold.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
