About

Daily switch between QQQ (big tech) and SHY (short-term Treasuries) using market trend, “overheated” checks, and volatility filters—aiming to capture upside in uptrends and sit safe during selloffs.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the trend and the “heat” of the market. - Trend: If the S&P 500’s ~1‑month average is above its ~10‑month average, it’s risk‑on. - Risk‑on: Hold QQQ (big tech) unless it looks overheated or too choppy; then use SHY (short‑term Treasuries). - Risk‑off: Mostly use SHY, only buying QQQ on deep dips or brief recoveries. RSI is a 0–100 “heat” gauge: high=overheated, low=washed‑out.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 34.72% annualized return vs 23.61% for SPY; Sharpe 1.75 vs 1.45; Calmar ~1.80. Rotates QQQ/SHY to capture tech rallies and cut risk, delivering stronger, more reliable risk-adjusted growth than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
