About
Daily rules switch between QQQ and SHY using market trend, momentum, and volatility. In uptrends it favors QQQ unless it’s overheated; in downtrends it hides in SHY, buying QQQ only on deep dips or brief upturns to limit drawdowns.
Each day it checks trend. If the S&P 500 (SPY) is in an uptrend (21‑day avg above 210‑day), it holds QQQ (Nasdaq‑100: big tech like AAPL, MSFT, NVDA) unless QQQ looks overheated or jumpy (high RSI or short‑term volatility), then it parks in SHY (1–3yr Treasuries). If trend is weak, it mostly stays in SHY, but buys QQQ on sharp dips (very low RSI) or when the short‑term trend turns up. RSI is a 0–100 “heat” gauge; moving averages track trend.
Out-of-sample edge: ~33.5% annualized return vs SPY ~23.2%, Sharpe ~1.71 vs ~1.44, drawdown ~19% (vs ~18.8%). A trend‑driven rotation that aims higher upside with controlled risk vs the S&P 500.
