About

A daily, rules-based switch that is in QQQ (big U.S. tech) most of the time and shifts to bonds (VBF) only when the market looks weak and not oversold. Uses moving averages and RSI to decide when to stay aggressive or play defense.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks one fund. - If SPY (S&P 500 fund) 21‑day average price is above its 210‑day average, buy QQQ (Nasdaq‑100: big U.S. tech). - Else, if QQQ’s 10‑day RSI (a 0–100 gauge of recent up vs down days) is under 30, buy QQQ. - Else, if SPY’s price is above its 31‑day average, buy QQQ. - Otherwise move to VBF (Invesco Bond Fund).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 33.8% annualized return vs SPY ~28.8%, Calmar ~4.29—strong risk-adjusted gains. Drawdowns higher (~7.9% vs 5.1%), yet bonds shield capital during weak markets while exposure to tech remains dominant most days.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
