An aggressive daily trading strategy that chases rebounds and trends in leveraged stock funds, but can shift into bonds, gold, dollar exposure, or volatility hedges when markets look stressed.

This strategy is a fast-moving trading system with an emergency brake. First, if market fear is extremely high, it hides in very short-term Treasury bonds (SHY). Otherwise it splits money across 3 aggressive sleeves that rotate among leveraged U.S. stock funds, semiconductors, healthcare, utilities, Treasuries, gold, the U.S. dollar, and volatility trades. It uses simple tests of trend, market “heat,” and whether stocks, bonds, or commodities have been acting stronger lately to decide where to go each day.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
