About

Daily tactical plan: when many indexes look “too hot,” flip into UVXY (a crash‑spike fund). Otherwise, follow the S&P 500 trend—hold UPRO in uptrends, and in downtrends rotate among TECL/UPRO/SPXS/TLT using short‑term oversold and momentum cues.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 10‑day “speedometer” (RSI) on many market indexes/sectors. If any look too hot (very high RSI), it buys UVXY—a fund that tends to jump when stocks drop fast (sometimes 75% UVXY/25% BTAL). If nothing is hot, it uses a trend filter: above the S&P 500’s 200‑day → UPRO (3× S&P) unless also too hot; below → rotate among TECL (3× tech), UPRO, SPXS (3× inverse S&P), or TLT (Treasuries) based on short‑term signals. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~56% annualized return, Sharpe ~1.01, Calmar ~1.14, outperforming S&P on upside with favorable risk-adjusted metrics. Caution: max drawdown ~49% vs ~19% for SPY; higher volatility, suitable for tolerant investors.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
