About

Daily plan: if stocks/major sectors look overheated, move into a volatility hedge (UVXY). Otherwise, ride the trend—UPRO in uptrends; in downtrends, flip among TECL, UPRO, SPXS, or TLT based on short‑term readings. Uses leveraged funds.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks if the market and key sectors look “too hot” using a 10‑day temperature score (RSI, 0–100). If any look very hot (≈80+), it buys a crash hedge (UVXY), sometimes 75% UVXY/25% BTAL. If not hot, it follows trend: when the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average it holds UPRO (3× S&P). When below, it rotates among TECL, UPRO, SPXS, or TLT based on short‑term “too cold” signals and momentum.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: Sharpe 1.11 vs SPY 0.91; annualized return ~65% vs ~16%; Calmar ~1.34. A compelling, risk-adjusted upside vs the S&P 500, though drawdowns can be larger in downturns (≈49% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
