About

Daily tactical system: when stocks look “too hot,” it flips into VIX funds (long volatility). Otherwise it trend-follows SPY, adding bounce trades in selloffs and defensive tilts (SH or TLT) in downtrends. Very aggressive and high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 10‑day “heat meter” (RSI) on major stock funds and sectors. If any look very hot, it buys VIX funds (UVXY/VIXY) to bet on a volatility pop. If not hot, it follows SPY’s trend: above the 200‑day = hold SPY; below = use bounce trades (UPRO) or defense (SH or TLT).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows superior risk-adjusted growth vs the S&P 500: Sharpe ~1.05 vs ~1.03, annualized return ~46% vs ~19%, Calmar ~1.18. Higher upside with a disciplined risk framework—though drawdowns can be larger in volatility spikes.
