About
A short‑term, tactical strategy that rotates among leveraged bull/bear ETFs in semiconductors, the S&P 500, and the Nasdaq, and sometimes buys volatility when the market looks overheated. Uses simple heat/trend gauges (RSI, moving averages). Very high risk.
About 80% goes to a rule set. It first checks if semiconductors (SOXX) are stronger than cash (BIL). If yes and the S&P 500 (SPY) looks overheated (RSI, a 0–100 speed-of-moves gauge; >70 = hot), it briefly buys volatility (UVXY/VIXY). If not overheated, it rides semis (SOXL). If semis aren’t stronger, it flips bull/bear in semis (SOXL/SOXS); if unclear, it switches to 3x bull/bear S&P (UPRO/SPXU) or Nasdaq (TQQQ/SQQQ) using tiny trend checks.
Out-of-sample annual return ~42.7% vs SPY ~21.4%. Captures bigger upside by tactically tilting to semis, Nasdaq, and volatility cues. Higher drawdowns (~63% vs ~19%), but potential for alpha-driven outperformance in tech cycles.
