This strategy constantly asks: is the market too hot, too cold, or calm? If tech or the S&P 500 look stretched upward, it often bets on a pullback using volatility funds or bearish tech funds. If tech looks beaten down, it often buys aggressive semiconductor or tech funds for a rebound. It also checks bonds, interest rates, commodities, and the U.S. dollar to decide whether to be aggressive, defensive, or bearish.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
