About

A high-octane, tactical rota that buys leveraged tech/semis on dips, hedges or shorts when markets look overheated, and uses bond and commodity signals to flip between offense and defense. Very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
- Checks if stocks are “hot” or “cold” using simple speed/heat gauges (like RSI and recent returns). - If too hot: hedge or short (UVXY, SQQQ, SOXS). If too cold: buy high-beta rebound plays (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL). - Uses the bond market to judge risk-on/off and pick TMF (falling rates) or TMV (rising rates). - If commodities are jumpy, shift to defense/cash.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, regime-aware rotation that rides leveraged tech rebounds while hedging with bonds and commodities. Out-of-sample: ~35.6% annual return vs ~21.8% for the S&P 500, with macro hedging but higher potential drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
