About

A daily rules-based switch between QQQ and its inverse PSQ. It buys QQQ on dips or when trends/bonds support risk-on, and flips to PSQ when markets are overheated, break trend, or when risk signals (bonds, dollar, volatility, semis) flash red.
NutHow it works
It holds one ETF at a time: QQQ (tracks big Nasdaq tech) or PSQ (moves opposite QQQ). Each day it checks: trend (price vs 200‑day average), a heat meter called RSI (0–100; >70 too hot, <30 washed‑out), big short‑term spikes/drops, and risk clues from bonds (TLT/IEF/BIL), the dollar (UUP), volatility (UVXY), and semis (SOXL/SMH). If trends/oversold favor risk‑on it buys QQQ; if overheated/weak or risk rises, it switches to PSQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~28.8% annualized return vs SPY ~24.4%, smaller drawdown (14.8% vs 18.8%), and Calmar ~1.94. Low beta (~0.74) means steadier upside with risk-off protection vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
