About

When commodities trend up, it owns the 4 recent winners (mostly commodity/energy/ag). Otherwise it switches to a QQQ/Treasuries/Gold playbook: buy 2× QQQ on deep dips, short QQQ when overheated, and hide in TLT when volatility spikes. Equal-weighted positions.
NutHow it works
First, it checks if broad commodities (DBC) are rising using two moving‑average tests (simple trend checks). If yes, it equal‑weights the 4 strongest funds (by ~3‑week return) from a menu tilted to commodities (energy, metals, ag), nat‑gas long/short, inverse S&P, and real estate. If not, it runs a tech/safety playbook: high Nasdaq (QQQ) volatility → Treasuries (TLT); very weak (RSI, a 0–100 heat score, <30) → 2× QQQ (QLD); very hot (RSI>80) → −2× QQQ (QID); if tech beats Utilities over ~6 months → QLD; else TLT or Gold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Diversified, regime-switching strategy that rotates into commodity leaders and uses risk-off hedges. A low-beta, inflation-friendly diversifier to the S&P 500 that smooths volatility and seeks commodity-cycle upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
