About

A daily, rules‑driven portfolio that rotates among U.S. stocks (tech‑tilted), Treasuries, and commodities (oil, gold, natural gas) using trend and overbought/oversold signals. It can hedge spikes with VIXY or step aside into T‑bills (BIL).
NutHow it works
It updates daily and splits money across stocks, bonds, and commodities. Simple signals drive decisions: - Trend filters (moving averages) choose risk‑on vs cash. - RSI is a hot/cold meter: high=overheated, low=washed‑out. Stocks default to QQQ (big tech) unless overheated (then VIXY), or weak (then semis/tech or defensive BTAL). Bonds switch between TMF/TMV or cash. Commodities trade DBC/XME, gold, oil, and natural gas via trend/oversold rules. Idle cash sits in BIL (T‑bills).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 29.38% annualized return vs 20.38% S&P; Sharpe 1.81 vs 1.18; Calmar 2.78; max drawdown 10.58% vs 18.76%; beta ~0.35—lower risk with bigger, diversified upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
