About

Daily tactical sleeve that first parks in BIL (T‑Bills) when markets look overheated, otherwise follows trend: long QQQ in healthy uptrends and rotates among XLK, SPHB, QQQ, PSQ, or BTAL using short‑term trend and RSI heat readings. ~80% allocation.
NutHow it works
Each day it first checks if markets look “too hot” (10‑day RSI > ~77–81 on big indexes/sectors). If so, it parks in BIL (short‑term T‑Bills). If not: if the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average, it holds QQQ. Otherwise it uses short‑term trends and RSI to rotate among XLK (tech), SPHB (high‑beta stocks), QQQ, PSQ (inverse QQQ), or BTAL (market‑neutral). RSI is a 0–100 “heat gauge”; moving averages track trend.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return 35.8% vs 18.5% for S&P, Sharpe 1.47 vs 1.04, Calmar 2.23, max drawdown 16% vs 18.8%. A fast, adaptive sleeve that tilts to growth while defensive belts guard risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
