About

Daily, rules-based. Fades extreme “hot” markets by buying UVXY (volatility). Otherwise buys dips in 3x tech/semis/S&P, or rides the leader (tech vs energy) when risk-on, and shifts to a safety mix when risk-off. Separately toggles between 3x Treasuries and the U.S. dollar.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: 1) Is the market “too hot” over ~10 days? (RSI = a 0–100 “heat” score.) If yes, go 100% to UVXY (a fear/volatility fund) for a short-term pullback. 2) If not, is tech washed out? If yes, buy the dip in 3x tech/semis/S&P. 3) Else, if broad market beats defensives, ride the leader (tech or energy). If not, move to a safety mix (volatility funds/anti‑beta). 4) Separately, flip between 3x Treasuries (TMF) and the U.S. dollar (USDU) based on bond strength.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~56.5% with Calmar ~1 and Sharpe ~0.98—meaning strong upside with solid risk-adjusted returns. Uses volatility hedges and risk-on/off timing to outperform the S&P 500, though drawdowns can be larger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
