About

Rides strong tech-led uptrends with 3x ETFs, buys oversold dips, and quickly hedges with volatility, bonds, or the U.S. dollar when markets get “too hot,” turn defensive, or sell off sharply. Very aggressive; uses leveraged and volatility ETFs.
NutHow it works
It’s a fast, rules-based “heat gauge” system. When stocks look overheated (RSI, a 0–100 heat gauge, is high), it hedges with a volatility fund (UVXY). When they look washed out (RSI low), it buys 3x bulls in tech/semis/S&P (TECL, SOXL, SPXL). If utilities beat the S&P or the Nasdaq 100 drops hard, it shifts to safety: VIX funds (UVXY/VIXM), anti‑beta (BTAL), long Treasuries (TMF) or the U.S. dollar (USDU). It may rotate to energy (ERX) if commodities lead.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-led, leveraged upside with rapid hedges. Out-of-sample annualized return ~69.6% vs ~22.4% for the S&P; Calmar ~1.23. Expect higher drawdowns (~57%) for potential outsized gains in strong uptrends.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
