About

An aggressive all-weather trading system that swings between leveraged stock funds, a volatility hedge, cash-like T-bills, long bonds, and the U.S. dollar based on short- and medium-term market strength.
NutHow it works
This strategy is an aggressive market-timer. It first asks: are stocks acting stronger than defensive utilities? If yes, it tries to buy beaten-down leveraged stock funds in tech, the S&P 500, or semiconductors. If stocks look too overheated, it can switch to a volatility fund. If conditions are weaker, it may hide in T-bills, long Treasury bonds, or the U.S. dollar.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this agile, tactical strategy targets higher upside: 27% annualized return vs 20.9% for the S&P. It uses risk-on/risk-off and leverage to ride trends - accept higher drawdown for bigger long-run gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
