A daily strategy that bets on tech and healthcare when the market looks strong, sometimes using leveraged funds, and shifts to short-term bonds when conditions weaken—except for occasional rebound trades after sharp Nasdaq drops.

Each day, the strategy first asks: is the overall U.S. stock market healthy? It uses SPY (an S&P 500 fund) and compares its price to its 200-day average price. If yes, it splits money 50/50 into technology (XLK) and healthcare (XLV). For each sector, if the recent trend is rising, it may use a more aggressive 3x version (TECL or CURE) unless that fund has already surged recently. If not, it uses the regular sector fund. If the market is not healthy, it usually moves to BSV, a short-term bond fund. But after a sharp recent drop in QQQ (Nasdaq-100), it may briefly buy TQQQ, a 3x Nasdaq fund, to try to catch a rebound.

Out-of-sample results show higher risk-adjusted growth vs SPY: oos Sharpe ~1.15 vs ~0.88, oos annualized ~48% vs ~14%, Calmar ~2.0. A disciplined tech/healthcare barbell with selective leverage and risk-off hedges targets bigger, steadier upside.
