About

A tactical, leveraged QQQ strategy. It compares growth vs utilities and corporate bonds vs T‑bills, then adds quick volatility and momentum checks to switch among 3x long QQQ, 2x long, cash, short QQQ, Treasuries, or a VIX hedge.
NutHow it works
It uses a simple grid and a few “overrides.” 1) Who’s stronger over ~100 days: growth stocks (QQQ) or defensive utilities (VPU)? That sets risk‑on vs risk‑off. 2) Is credit healthy: corporate bonds (CORP) beating T‑bills (BIL) over ~60 days? Overlays: a volatility tripwire and momentum (RSI = 0–100 gauge of recent gains/losses). It rotates among 3x long QQQ (TQQQ), 2x long (QLD), cash/T‑bills (BIL), short QQQ (PSQ), Treasuries (IEF), or volatility (VIXY). High risk due to leverage.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~42.6% with Calmar ~1.19. A regime-driven, leveraged QQQ strategy using fast volatility/RSI hedges to beat the S&P on risk-adjusted terms—accepts higher drawdowns for bigger upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
